Public transport options include regular bus services from Perth, which can take about 45 minutes. Once in town, it’s compact enough to navigate on foot, but having a car opens up scenic drives through the surrounding countryside.

If you’re planning to venture into the nearby countryside, consider the back roads like the B950 towards Kirkmichael. These roads often lead to stunning views and less-travelled paths. Parking in and around Blairgowrie is generally straightforward, but during busy summer weekends, it’s wise to arrive early to secure a spot, especially at popular spots like the River Ericht.
